Gunshots in Lincoln

A resident called the Lincoln Police Department after hearing several gunshots in the early morning hours Monday.

The resident reported hearing gunshots and observed two people running through a nearby field at 5:00 am.

Officers were dispatched to 33rd and Gladstone. Upon investigating they did not find any damages or suspects in the area.

A second call to police came from an employee of “Tracy’s Road Wrench” located on 3235 North 33rd street at 7:48 am.

The employee reported damage to a charcoal grill. Officers discovered the grill had several bullet holes in it with damages amounting to $20.
